Leather Pads conform to the hoof for a better custom fit. The pad ensures foreign materials such as dirt and grit are far less likely to get trapped between the pad and the sole of the foot. Leather also enables the hoof to “breathe” which in turn minimises the hoof sweating and the opportunity for thrush to incubate decreases greatly.
